Cathejell is a sterile lubricant with anesthetic in a prefilled syringe that makes catheterization or self-catheterization easier by lubricating and opening the urethra before the catheter is put in the urethra which reduces the risk of injury to the urethra. Cathejell’s accordion style syringe design allows low initial pressure to let you slowly put the lubricating gel into the urethra. This gently expands the urethra for improved comfort.

- The highly viscous (thick) lubricating gel gently expands the urethra and adheres to the surface lining. This provides a protective coating of lubricant making it easier to insert and remove the catheter with less risk of pain or injury.
- Cathejell’s lubricating gel also has an anesthetic to further reduce the risk of pain for a more comfortable experience.
