Magnesium Sulfate Injection, USP is a sterile, non-pyrogenic solution of magnesium sulfate in water for injection, used for both therapeutic and prophylactic purposes in clinical settings. It is commonly indicated for the treatment of hypomagnesemia, prevention and control of seizures in preeclampsia and eclampsia, and as an adjunct in the management of acute nephritis in children and certain cardiac arrhythmias.
