This sterile, non-pyrogenic intravenous solution comprises 0.9% w/v sodium chloride (9 g per litre) in a 1000 mL VIAFLEX® flexible plastic container. It is intended as a source of water and electrolytes and may be used as a vehicle or diluent for compatible parenteral medications.
