A sterile, non-pyrogenic intravenous solution of 0.9% w/v sodium chloride in water for injection. This 50 mL bag is supplied in a VIAFLEX® flexible plastic container (Mini-Bag format) for single-use intravenous administration.

- Contains 0.9 g of sodium chloride per 100 mL (i.e., 900 mg in the 50 mL container) which equates to a sodium concentration of 154 mmol/L.
- Osmolarity of approximately 308 mOsmol/L (calculated) for physiological compatibility.
- Delivered in a VIAFLEX® plastic bag, which supports ease of infusion and bedside convenience.
- Indicated as a source of water and electrolytes, and may be used as a vehicle or diluent for compatible parenteral medications.
