This sterile, non-pyrogenic intravenous solution contains 3.3% w/v dextrose (33 g per 1000 mL = 33 g/L) and 0.3% w/v sodium chloride (3 g per 1000 mL = 3 g/L) in a flexible VIAFLEX® plastic container. It is intended for infusion to supply water, calories and electrolytes in clinical settings.
