This is a sterile, non-pyrogenic intravenous solution of 5% w/v dextrose in water packaged in a 1000 mL Viaflex® flexible plastic bag. It is intended for intravenous administration as a source of water and calories and may also be used as a diluent for compatible parenteral medications.
