This IRDA-USB Adapter is designed for use with Baxter’s infusion pump systems such as the Sigma Spectrum line (among others). It enables data transfer via the IrDA (Infrared Data Association) interface to a USB port, simplifying connectivity from old-style IR ports to modern USB for pump programming, data download, or firmware upgrades.
