EMLA® PATCH is a topical anesthetic patch containing 2.5% lidocaine and 2.5% prilocaine, supplied by Aspen Pharmacare Canada Inc. for Canadian use. It is applied to intact skin to produce localized numbness in preparation for minor procedures such as venipuncture, intramuscular injections or skin lesion treatment.
