The Bovie Monopolar/Bipolar Footswitch (#BV-1253B) is designed for use with the Specialist PRO (#A1250S), Surgi-Center PRO (#A2350), OR PRO 300 (#A3350), IDS-210, IDS-310, and IDS-400, but performs differently depending on what generator is being used.

Features
- While being used with the Surgi-Center PRO or OR PRO 300, the footswitch can not perform bipolar functions. Rather, it acts as a dual-monopolar footswitch, with the yellow side performing cutting function, and the blue side performing coagulation.
- A bipolar footswitch allows the use of bipolar forceps, while a monopolar footswitch allows the use of pads and pencils.
