3M™ DuraPrep™ Surgical Solution (Iodine Povacrylex [0.7% available iodine] and Isopropyl Alcohol, 74% w/w) is a patient preoperative skin preparation that is designed to be applied in a single, painted coat with no scrubbing. It is designed for the preparation of the skin prior to surgery and helps reduce bacteria that potentially can cause skin infection.

- Contains a polymer that dries to a water-insoluble film and resists wash-off by blood and saline challenges
- Maximum treatment area is 38 cm x 76 cm
- 3M™ DuraPrep™ Solution continues to keep (resident) bacteria counts low for at least 24 hours when film is left on the skin
- 3M™ Duraprep™ Solution continues to kill (transient) bacteria contacting the film for at least 12 hours
- Sterile contents (unless package is damaged or opened); 3M™ * DuraPrep™ Solution resists wash-off by irrigating fluids, blood or saline
- DuraPrep™ film is recommended to be left on the skin and gradually wear away
